Dr. Azzam is a Consultant in Trauma, Emergency and Critical Care Medicine at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Gp.
He is the Former director of the MOH ECMO program, and a member of the Saudi Extracorporeal life support chapter under the umbrella of the Saudi Critical Care Society. He is also the Saudi Representative of Southwest Asia & Africa Extracorporeal Life support (SWAAC ELSO) chapter steering committee.
Currently he is the medical director in Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Gp. Jeddah Branch.
He is heavily involved in Trauma and Disaster Medicine training, ECMO operation and training, and critical care operation at the national level.
His main interest is Trauma resuscitation, interfacility critical care transportation and ECMO operation
