Dr. Amal Bakhshwain is a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Consultant at King Saud Medical City, Riyadh.
Currently, she is the Deputy program director of Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship training program and a Scholar in the 2024/2025 Harvard Macy Institute Program for Educators in Health Professions.
Dr. Bakhshwain has played an important role in advancing educational initiatives, particularly in the areas of medical education and simulation. She has focused on improving trauma readiness in pediatric emergency departments through various initiatives. Her passion for education is reflected in her involvement in workshops and speaking engagements, where she shares her experiences in pediatric emergency care and medical education. As a member of SASEM, EUSEM and the Young Emergency Medicine Doctors group, Dr. Bakhshwain is dedicated to empowering learners to take ownership of their education.
